The group currently consists of the principal investigator, two PhD students, one post-doc and one undergraduate student. The laboratory is based in the new Trinity Bioscience Institute. It’s a modern laboratory, in which the traditional organic synthesis is combined with innovative approaches. In addition we have access to a complete set of characterisation techniques in both the CRANN Institute and the School of Chemistry. A successful equipment supplement application to SFI secured an AFM/Raman Spectrometer which enhances the research in nanomaterials characterization.
